The Postgraduate Department of Mathematics at St Thomas College, Kozhencherry was established in 1956 and has since grown into a vibrant academic community with a proud legacy. Strengthening this legacy, the department has an Alumni Association that was formally registered in 2022. It has an active global network of former students. Annual meetings are conducted to commemorate retired faculty and felicitate distinguished alumni of the department. Batch-wise alumni meetings are also organized both on and off campus, rekindling friendships and renewing institutional bonds.
The Alumni Association serves as a dynamic platform for connection and collaboration among alumni, students, and faculty. Through reunions, mentoring initiatives, career guidance programmes, scholarships, and outreach activities, it significantly contributes to the academic and developmental progress of the department. It functions as a lifelong community that keeps the spirit of the department alive across generations.
